Today, we will be speaking about the importance of a relationship with Christ and how important it is for a man to lead—but how much more important it is to learn to let God lead.

I’m mainly focusing on the Ephesians 5 man and the way he is intended to lead his household. The way you lead your household is a direct reflection of who you are as a man, as a leader, and how much you are allowing God to be involved in your life—letting God lead so that you can lead.

On today’s show, we’ll be digging more into the responsibilities and expectations of a man of God.

We’re still building from the Ephesians 5 man, but we’re also looking at the larger picture of what is expected when you say you are a man of God: how you portray yourself, how you are seen in your community, and—more importantly—how you are seen in your household.

That is the main focus of today’s topic.

Of course, on TraVolve Radio, we’re always going to uplift TraVolve as a nonprofit. But I also want to reach out to the fellas and offer guidance and a few pointers on how to be a true man of God.

I’m walking with you all while continuing my own walk. I’m not perfect. There is no perfect Christian.

As I work on my walk, I want to help others and do more of the serving portion of being a man of God.

When we come back, we’ll get into the appearance of a man of God—not only the physical appearance, but how you should be portrayed as a man of God without even having to say it.

It is a presence you should give off. It is a certain way you should carry yourself, allowing the light God placed inside you to shine brighter than what is in the world.

The world may portray you as certain things based only on the way you look.

I’m working on being a man of God, but I’m a sweatsuits-and-sneakers kind of person. I’m not always in suits and ties. Someone may see me and assume I’m still involved in the streets, but I am very much not.

So how can I move through the world and give off more of the presence—or the aura—of a man of God?
